What to Expect During Your Dental Exam
Our dental exams are designed to give you a complete, transparent view of your teeth and gum health. These check-ups include:
- Full Mouth Examinations: We check your teeth, gums, and soft tissues for signs of decay, gum disease, wear, or other issues. We’ll also assess your bite, jaw movement, and any existing dental work.
- 2 Diagnostic X-Rays: These help us detect cavities, infections, or concerns that can’t be seen with the eye alone, especially between teeth or below the gum line.
- Tailored Treatment Plan: If we find anything that needs further care, we’ll walk you through your options, costs, and timelines. Whether it’s a small filling or just a plan to maintain what you’ve got, we’ll make sure you feel confident before starting anything.
Need a Clean Too?
This exam doesn’t include a hygiene clean — but if your teeth are in good shape, we can often book that in as a follow-up right away.

Prevent Decay and Disease
Most dental issues develop slowly — and silently. A regular checkup helps us catch early signs of decay or gum inflammation before they turn into bigger (and more expensive) problems.

Spot Problems Early
X-rays and routine exams let us detect problems like cracked fillings, hidden infections, or early enamel wear. Early detection means less treatment and fewer surprises later.

Maintain Your Overall Health
Oral health is linked to heart disease, diabetes, and more. Seeing your dentist regularly is one of the simplest ways to stay on top of your total health and wellness.
